The SH726A, SH726B Group are high-performance microcontrollers incorporating SH2A-FPU cores. The SH726A and SH726B MCUs are equipped with a new bus controller that enables connection of quad-SPI flash ROM (serial type), which uses fewer connection pins, as external flash memory supporting direct data access. This reduces substantially the number of pins required for connection while maintaining access speeds equivalent to conventional parallel NOR flash. In addition to 216 MHz high-speed operation, 1.25 MB of on-chip RAM makes it possible to build compact and high-performance systems. They offer optimal solutions for control, communications, and audio systems.
