NCP81044: Synchronous Buck Controller, Low Voltage
The NCP81044 is a PWM control designed to operate from a 5V or 12V supply. These devices are capble of producing an output voltage as low as 0.8V. These 8 pin edvices provide an optimal level of integration to reduce size and cost of the power supply. The NCP81044 provides a 1A gate driver design and an internally set 275kHz oscillator. In addition to the 1A gate drive capability, other effeciency enhancing features of the gate driver include adaptive non overlap circuitry. The device also incorporate an externally compensated error amplifier and a capacitor programmable soft-start function. Protection and under voltage lockout UVLO. The NCP81044 comes in an 8 pin SOIC package.
