TraceX™ is a host-based software analysis tool that enables developers to visualize and better understand the behavior of their real-time systems.
Designed to work with Express Logic's ThreadX® RTOS, TraceX™ analyzes system events such as context switches, thread preemptions, suspensions, terminations, and interrupts.
Events are logged by ThreadX®under program control, and event logging may be stopped and restarted by the program dynamically.
Trace information is stored in a circular buffer on the target system, and that information may be uploaded to the host for analysis at any time.
Once uploaded, TraceX™ displays events on a horizontal timeline, with the various application threads and system routines to which the events are related listed along the vertical axis.
