SSL2109ADB1108：230V 18W TLED high PF Isolated LED driver demo board

The SSL2109AT is a high-efficient LED current controller IC for non-dimmable LED lamps. It controls a constant current through the LEDs from a rectified mains input voltage. The 18W SSL2109ADB1108 demo board is an isolated fly back configuration designed for driving typically a 10-LED string load from a 230V AC mains. The PCB dimension is compatible for TLED form factors used in SSL applications. The demo board provides a simple and effective solution having a high power factor and a low THD.

The board can easily be modified to realize a 120 V/18W T8 LED derivative board with a power factor of >0.9. The user manual of the SSL2109ADB1108 board describes the components that are different compared to the SSL2109ADB1108 board. Also the online design tool can be used to calculate the required modifications of the board.
